About Jupiter
Jupiter is a Vancouver-based artist with decades of experience in the arts, mentoring, and in private childcare. Their artistic training includes:•MFA, Emily Carr University of Art and Design (ECU)
•BFA, Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD)
•Master Class, Berlin Art Institute
•ISW Network Instructional Skills WorkshopJupiter has mentored undergraduate students, conducted work as a research assistant at ECU, and led workshops for both youth and adults.Lessons are offered privately at home for children and youth ages 8-17, and adults 18+. Specialties include illustration, comics, printmaking, watercolour, oil and acrylic painting, and basic ceramics (air dry) and sculpture. All processes are analog with minimal screen involvement, and only for visual references and presentations. AI/generative tools are not used for any part of the lessons or their creation. Sessions are 2-4 hours long and individual projects may last several sessions.In addition the following is available upon request:•Portfolio building exercises for Art School application
